TEI Staffing announces new ownership

Brazoria County, TX July 1, 2004

TEI Staffing has announced new ownership of the 20-year-old staffing services firm. Based in Brazoria County, with offices in Alvin, Lake Jackson and Humble, TEI was purchased by Ron and Kyla Kapche of Houston. Both are veterans of the staffing industry, who bring with them more than 50 years combined industry experience.

Ron Kapche is the former owner of three staffing franchises for a NYSE-listed international staffing firm. He purchased the business in 1972 and sold it in 1995, having developed the operation into one of the top ten franchises in the country. He later used his workforce and training expertise in Austin to become the founding executive director of the Texas Workforce Commission.

Kyla Kapche worked with Ron in the Houston staffing franchise as Technical Recruiter, Branch Manager, and Area Manager. She later became a Corporate Account Executive for the parent company. Her extensive local and national account management experience brings strong leadership and sales expertise to TEI, which is established as a woman-owned business.

The Kapches plan to offer more extensive human capital solutions, and expand its network of offices to better serve its clients in the Brazoria, Galveston, Fort Bend, Montgomery and Harris county areas.
