SUMMARY
The Warehouse associate positions are needed due to the planned start-up of the new SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) unit that is being built within the plant site. This unit will produce SAP product that will be packaged, warehoused and shipped to all external customers and warehouses, both domestic and overseas.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience of WMS (Warehouse Management System) preferred
- Good personal computer skills
- Fork truck operation experience
- General knowledge of plant safety rules & regulations preferred
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- SAP Knowledge preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Four to eight brief statements indicating what is done (Action), How it is done (Method or Means) and why (End Result). List in order of importance. (use additional sheet of paper if necessary)
- Packaging, sampling & labeling of super sacks (FIBC), to meet customer and site requirements
- Picking and Pulling finish goods for daily shipments
- Truck audits daily to ensure that shipments are correct
- Daily updating of location system to keep product locations accurate
- Put away finish goods from the packaging areas to prevent bottleneck of products on the packaging lines and keep the warehouse stocked for outgoing shipments
- Off load and put away of raw materials, for use in production
- Monitor facility for cleanliness, organization and damage
- Other duties as assigned when necessary

- Ability to guide and inspire other team members, to maximize potential and foster high standards in accordance with company's values, principles and goals
- Ability to establish contacts to customers (both external and internal) and to maintain relationships with existing customers for mutual benefit
- Ability to work together with others toward mutual objectives
- Working knowledge of WMS systems preferred
- Excel and Access computer skills highly desirable
