JOB DESCRIPTION:
Inspect assemblies, subassemblies, components, and parts for conformance to specifications to ensure the accurate manufacturing of packer and downhole tool products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Examine production documents to ensure that all assembly, inspecting, and testing steps were performed according to specifications.
- Examine all finished parts and verify accuracy by reviewing specifications outlined on engineering blueprints or drawings.
- Notify Engineering Manager or other management staff as discrepancies are noted.
- Assist in corrective action as necessary to ensure accuracy of finished parts.
- Prepare required shipping documentation and certification papers for international shipments of packers, tools and parts.
- Process documentation by filing in appropriate filing area.
- Perform general maintenance duties as required.
- Maintain working knowledge of ISO documentation and quality requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be proficient in MS Word or equivalent and MS Excel or equivalent
This is a temp to hire position in Northwest Houston.
Salary for this position is $18.00 per hour.
