The candidate in this position plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function. They must organize and maintain a clean and efficient inventory room. They will be utilizing M2M computer system to purchase and balance inventory items and to issue orders for outside vendor assemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices.
  • Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
  • Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
  • Maintain inventory levels of all parts as they move with sales and shipments using Made2Manage and input from the VP of Production.
  • Purchase parts and all non inventory items required from distributors, using Made2Manage.
  • Release pre-assembled kits of parts for outside/in-house assembly.
  • Document all materials received, including RMAs and Customer's parts.
  • Backup stock selector as and when needed.
  • Uses M2M system to maintain production and kit pulling by using the MRP system that includes accurate data, cycle counts, establishing jobs and other daily M2M functions.
  • Monitors the accuracy of kits that are assembled and issues to outside vendors.
  • Verifies that incoming products are checked and accurately input into the M2M system.
  • Provides assistance to the Stock Selector as required.
  • Keeps a clean work and hazard free area.

This is a direct hire position located in Sugar Land, TX.

Salary range for this position is $45,000-$50,000, depending on experience.
