RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Electronic Development Technician duties will be as follows:

  • Build/assemble prototype electronic circuits both analog and digital
  • Troubleshoot electronic designs
  • Conduct electronic based experiments ¡V sensor evaluation as well as signal
  • Conditioning schemes
  • Create and maintain Engineering files
  • Troubleshoot equipment (complete assemblies)
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates interested in this position should possess experience with the following:

  • Proficient with analog & digital electronics; both theory and practical (hands-on)
  • Knowledgeable in operations of test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzer; digital mult-meters; soldering equipment, etc.)
  • Experience with hi-temp electronics (preferable)
  • Skills in electro-mechanical assembly
  • Have good mechanical aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good documentation skills (for technical documentation)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good computer/pc skills
  • Positive/enthusiastic attitude, self started requiring low supervision, safety conscious.

EDUCATION:

Minimum of 2 years college degree or equivalent work experience
Prefer 4 year Technology Degree (BS/Engineering Technology) with experience a plus.
Previous Oil & Gas or Logging company experience with downhole tools would be a plus.

This is a contract position located in Sugar Land, TX.
