JOB DESCRIPTION:
Electronics Technician to work within an Engineering team to support engineering, manufacturing and field operations activities. This position requires an experienced Technician with proven failure analysis and troubleshooting skills to work on downhole measurement tools. Candidates should be able to work under minimal supervision and possess basic computing skills. Candidate will participate in troubleshooting, testing and repairing of electronic down-hole and surface system tools, sensors, equipment, and assemblies, according to company standards, procedures, and practices, while following and adhering to the guidelines for safety and environmental compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble and disassemble electrical tools and related equipment
- Build test setup
- Test electronic tools
- Learn the procedures for the preparation of reports on the maintenance of electronic tools and equipment
- Learn the procedures required to meet the specifications of the company and requirements of the client
- Knowledge in operating equipment to enable electronic testing troubleshooting
- Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs in the district
- Wear PPE at all times and observe health, safety and environmental policies
This is a contract position located in Rosharon, TX.
Salary will be based upon experience.
