The candidate in this position will prepare and maintain complex engineering project design layouts, production drawings and other related documentation per ANSI and company standards completely and accurately considering the methods of manufacture, tolerance, and their effect on related parts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years PWB CAD design experience
- Schematic capture, layout & assembly documentation
- Conventional/multilayer
- Mixed technology (thru-hole, SMT)
- Layout of mixed analog & digital circuitry
- Layout of power supply circuitry
- Proficient with Protel 99SE (or equivalent CAD design software)
- Proficient with AutoCAD (or equivalent mechanical drafting software)
- Product Database Management system experience
- Stable work history
- Self motivated
- Dependable
- Familiar with IPC and industry standards
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Cadence (Concept HDL & Allegro PCB) experience
- SPECCTRA auto-router experience
- Layout of RF & high power circuitry
- 3D modeling experience
- Signal integrity analysis
- Electrical technician background
- Electro-mechanical packaging
- System level wiring and harness documentation
- HDI technology & high speed design
- BGAs
- Blind and buried via technology
- Micro via technology
- PWB manufacturing experience
- DFM/DFA experience
- High temperature, shock and vibration design
- SCM/MCM design experience
- Schematic capture, layout & assembly documentation
- LTCC/HTCC
- Thick film
- CAD librarian experience
